About Rotate PDF
Rotate PDF turns the pages of a PDF by 90° to the left, 180° or 90° to the right and saves the new orientation. Rotate all pages at once, a range such as 1-3, 5, 8-, or the pages you select in the thumbnail view, where a single click selects every landscape or every portrait page. Each thumbnail also has its own rotate buttons for fixing single pages.
Only the rotation setting of each page changes. Text, images and vector graphics stay exactly as they were, and links, bookmarks and form fields are kept. The rotated PDF opens in the new orientation in every viewer and prints that way, so the change is permanent rather than just a view setting in your reader.
Typical cases are documents fed into the scanner sideways, an upside-down page in a contract, landscape tables in a portrait report, or phone scans that show up in the wrong orientation. Because you rotate the PDF in your browser, the document doesn't have to be uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Does rotating reduce the quality?
No. Only the page's rotation setting changes, so text, images and vector graphics stay exactly as they were. Links, bookmarks and form fields are kept.
How do I rotate only the landscape pages?
Choose “Selected”, click “Landscape” to select all landscape pages, then rotate them in one go.
Is the rotation permanent?
Yes. The saved PDF opens with the new orientation in every viewer and prints that way.
Why does my PDF open sideways or upside down?
Scanners and scanning apps store each page in the orientation in which the paper was fed or photographed. Setting the page rotation fixes how the page is displayed and printed without changing its content.
