Which files can I open?
Code and data files, spreadsheets, 3D models, fonts, archives, GPS tracks, audio, certificates and tokens. Any other file opens in the hex viewer, so you can always see what is inside.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Engyna reads the file in your browser and never sends it to a server. Close the tab and it is gone.
How does it know which viewer to use?
It looks at the file's first bytes, which identify most formats regardless of the name, and falls back to the extension for text formats. If a file makes sense in several viewers, you can switch between them.
Is there a size limit?
Files up to 2 GB can be opened. Large text and hex files are read in parts, so they stay responsive.
