About Charades & Taboo Cards

Charades & Taboo Cards draws words for three classic party games. In Charades the player acts the word out without talking, in Taboo they describe it without saying the word or any of the four red taboo words on the card, and in Draw it they sketch it Pictionary-style without letters or numbers. The built-in word bank covers eight categories, Animals, Actions, Objects, Jobs, Sports & hobbies, Food & drink, Places and Characters & stories, each at easy, medium and hard difficulty or mixed.

For a game round, add up to eight teams, choose 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds per turn, and pass the phone to the player who explains. Tap Got it or Skip until time runs out; skipping can cost a point, and the score table shows which team leads. You can add up to 300 of your own words with up to four taboo words each and mix them in, or play with only your own.

Prefer paper? Download all cards of your selection as a PDF for A4 or US Letter, eight per page with cut lines. It suits family game nights, classrooms practicing vocabulary, team building and parties of any size.
