About Truth or Dare
Truth or Dare is a ready-to-play party game in the browser. Pick one or more categories, Kids, Friends, Party and Couples, and an intensity from Mild through Medium to Bold, where each level also includes the milder questions. Then tap Truth, Dare or a random choice, and a card appears that won't come up again until you close the page.
Add up to 30 player names and the game tells you whose turn it is, either in a fixed order or by random player. A card can be skipped, and so can a turn. You can add up to 200 truths and 200 dares of your own, mix them into the built-in questions or play with only your own. The questions stay tasteful in every category: Bold means more daring or embarrassing, never explicit.
It works for sleepovers, birthday parties, family evenings, icebreakers at camp or in a new group, and date nights. One phone or tablet passed around the table is enough, so nobody needs to install an app or sign up.
Frequently asked questions
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes. Choose only the Kids category for silly, safe questions and dares. All categories stay tasteful; bold means more daring or embarrassing, never explicit.
Can I add my own questions?
Yes. Add your own truths and dares below the game and mix them in, or switch on Only use my questions.
What are the rules of truth or dare?
On their turn a player chooses truth, and must answer a question honestly, or dare, and must do a task. Groups often agree on a forfeit for refusing, and anyone may say no to something that makes them uncomfortable.
What is the difference between the intensity levels?
Mild cards are harmless and silly, Medium ones are a little more personal or daring, and Bold ones are the most embarrassing. Each level includes the cards of the levels below it.
